During the past few months, the Snowy Owl has once again appeared in the Northwoods. This rare appearance offers birdwatchers, photographers, and artist an opportunity to view the artic bird. The Snowy Owl will be the subject of an upcoming LOLA event held at The Forest Lake Country Store.
At the event, Wendy Powalisz will assist artists in creating their own 11 x 14 watercolor portrait of the Snowy Owl. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, February 25th, 2020. Doors will open at 5:30pm, light snacks and wine will be available. The class will begin at 6:00 pm and reservations are required.
