Join local historian Jim Bokern on a fascinating snowshoe hike this Saturday, February 22nd in the Toy Lake Swamp State Natural Area near Manitowish Waters. Jim and his guests will explore the lives of the people that lived in this beautiful area over a century ago. This is an off-trail, moderately strenuous snowshoe hike so be prepared and pack accordingly.
The Toy Lake Swamp Natural State Area has several miles of snowshoe trails that offer visitors magnificent winter scenery with opportunities to view wildlife in a natural setting.
